THE SUPREME COURT OF THE RUSSIAN FERERATION SATISFIED THE CASSATION APPEAL PREPARED BY THE LAWYERS OF BLS CUSTOS GROUP

The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation declared the penalty recovery from the Client of BLS CUSTOS GROUP illegal and revoked the court’s order.
The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation disagreed with the opinion of the lower courts and confirmed that the moratorium on the accrual of penalties and other financial sanctions, the so-called bankruptcy moratorium, is valid in consumer protection cases and applies regardless of whether the legal entity has signs of insolvency, whether an insolvency petition (bankruptcy petition) has been filed against it or not.
